From 24 to 27 May 2023 at the Krzysztof Kieślowski Film School at the University of Silesia in Katowice (ul. Św. Pawła 3) the 21st Węgiel Film Festival will take place.
The Festival is a spectacle of short feature and documentary films bringing together artists from around the world.
Participants will be able to take part in workshops, pitching sessions and masterclasses, and above all, watch the films submitted to the competition. The qualified short films included three films by students of the Film School at the University of Silesia: Mateusz Rybiński, Daniel Le Hai and Patryk Kaflowski.
During this year’s festival, the Film School Open Days will be held simultaneously.
