35th Conference on Embryology

19.03.2024 - 09:11, update 17.05.2024 - 15:19
Editors: OO

The Animal Histology and Embryology Team of the Institute of Biology, Biotechnology and Environmental Protection of the University of Silesia is once again organising the Conference on Embryology – Plants, Animals, Humans, which will take place in May 2024. The event, organised every two years, provides a forum for scientific meetings of Polish embryologists. The themes explored during the 35th Conference on Embryology, like those of the previous editions, cover embryology in the broadest sense – from classical and descriptive, through experimental, to molecular embryology. The conferences held as part of this series present reports on various aspects of plant embryogenesis, gametogenesis, and animal and human developmental anatomy and morphogenesis.

Participating in the 35th Conference on Embryology will provide an excellent opportunity to present the results of the latest scientific research, exchange experiences, and learn about new research methods and techniques used in biological sciences. Also, attending the conference will encourage the reinvigoration of existing and the establishment of new contacts between embryologists from different research centres. It will also be a good opportunity for students and doctoral students to present their research results and discuss them with experts. In connection with Katowice receiving the European City of Science 2024 title, we will promote the city, the Silesian Voivodeship, and the University of Silesia as those who care about creating a climate-friendly science and education.

Detailed information about the conference can be found at konferencjaembriologiczna2024.us.edu.pl.

The event is organised as part of the City-Region-Academia stream of the European City of Science Katowice 2024 celebrations. The event is co-financed by the Silesian Voivodeship – the co-organiser of the European City of Science Katowice 2024.
