Developing and disseminating the Guide for the Gender Equality Plan and Diversity Promotion in the Academic Environment is one of the tasks within the Gender Equality Programme in Academia – Raising Diversity executed together with the representatives of the University of Miscolc, European University Cyprus, University of Malta, Paris Lodron University of Salzburg, and Euniversity.

Experts from the institutions associated with the GEPARD consortium will develop a guide for carrying out diagnostic, monitoring, and evaluation activities in terms of gender equality in the university space.

The publication will present models of research on gender equality policy in selected European universities in terms of its implementation, monitoring, and evaluation. The Guide will contain a universal model of methodological solutions and a collection of recommendations concerning, among others, methods of carrying out diagnostic and evaluation research as well as research tools and indicators in the area of gender equality and diversity promotion in the academic environment.

The solutions suggested in the compilation will allow for an in-depth analysis of phenomena and socio-cultural processes advantageous and disadvantageous for shaping an inclusive and diverse university community and full participation in various spheres of academic life (educational, scientific, organisational, and other) regardless of gender.

Magdalena Półtorak, PhD, from the Faculty of Law and Administration will be responsible for the organisation and coordination of the task completion. The materials will be shared on the project website in December 2023.
