The conference accompanying 65th Annual Meeting of International Committee for Coal and Organic Petrology (ICCP) and 30th Annual Meeting of the Society for Organic Petrology (TSOP) will take place from 23rd of August until 4th of September 2013 at the Faculty of Earth Sciences in Sosnowiec.
Both organizations bring together world leading scientists, undertaking research on the origins of coal, and the associated rocks and organic rocks, as well as issues related to the impact of the use of coal on the environment.
The organizer of the event is the Faculty of Earth Sciences, University of Silesia in Katowice.
