The representatives of the University of Silesia in Katowice, including: Sandra Seweryn, Maja Karwowska, Agata Maćkowska, Polina Holovko and Martyna Szerszeń, participated in the Polish Academic Championships in sports aerobics, during which they competed with teams from 15 universities from all over Poland. The competition organised by the Lodz University of Technology took place on 11-13 April 2024 in Łódź.
The participants from the University of Silesia took third place in the general classification, thanks to good results in the women’s solo and team categories. Debutant Polina Holovko took 14th place, Maja Karwowska took 9th place, while Sandra Seweryn maintained her position and became the Polish runner-up in the 2023/2024 season. The trio composed of Polina Holovko, Martyna Szerszeń and Agata Maćkowska participated in the team category and took second place.
The section coach is Katarzyna Ostrowska from the Centre for Physical Education and Sport of the University of Silesia.
