Be certain that we will support you in any possible way. At the moment, I would like to assure you about the most important things:
- You are the students of the University of Silesia regardless of the place of your residence and the status of your semester – we extend your exam session, enable you to participate in classes online, and if necessary we will propose you a short-term leave in order to settle all formal matters. If possible, write an e-mail to your dean’s office concerning that matter, and if you are not able to do so – your exam session will be extended, and you can make up for the classes of the summer semester on a convenient date.
- Within the wall of the University, you will find a place to live. Those of you who want to change the current place of residence and find accommodation in a dormitory can apply for it in a dean’s office. Those who already reside in dormitories do not have to pay for a dormitory for March (for this purpose apply online for a request to be exempt from the payment at https://formularze.us.edu.pl/form/index/2927).
- Studies at the University of Silesia will not be paid for you – we withdraw from payment studies.
- At the University you will find psychological, legal, and medical aid if you report for such a need to pomagam@us.edu.pl or emergency number 573 490 580.
