Ladies and Gentlemen,
due to the decreasing number of confirmed SARS-CoV-2 virus infections in Poland and at the University of Silesia, as well as in connection with the increased availability of vaccinations, please be informed that security level 2 (marked with orange colour) is introduced at the University of Silesia again, effective from 12 May 2021. This means the end of the crisis situation that has lasted for almost 7 weeks, as well as gradual restoration of on-site operation of the University of Silesia. The University security levels were defined with Regulation no. 179 of the Rector of the University of Silesia of 16 October 2020.
I strongly request that employees of the units responsible for the introduction of security measures effective at level 2 monitor their implementation on an ongoing basis.
