Conference on Pro-Environmental and Pro-Innovative Goals in Public Procurement Contracts

The University of Silesia in Katowice co-organises a transatlantic conference on implementation of pro-environmental and pro-innovative goals at the stage of execution of public procurement contracts together with George Washington University in Washington, University of Warsaw, „Pro Silesia” Business – University – Region Association and Public Procurement Law Association. The conference will be held on 30 September 2020 at the University of Warsaw. The participants include Prof. Tomasz Pietrzykowski – Vice-Rector for Domestic and International Cooperation and Prof. Wiesław Banyś – President of the „Pro Silesia” Business – University – Region Association, Rector of the University of Silesia in 2008-2016. The Polish-U.S. Fulbright Commission took patronage of the event.

The conference will be dedicated to the practical aspects of execution of public procurement contracts and resolution of disputes arising in connection with these contracts in the context of implementation of pro-environmental and pro-innovative goals. The event is addressed e.g. to representatives of local government authorities, public administration bodies, legal advisors and lawyers specialised in public procurement, as well as representatives of the scientific community.
