We have completed the second stage of the nationwide competition ‘USil Wild Card’! The competition interviews showed the intellectual potential of young, talented people – this year’s graduates applying to study at the University of Silesia. These are young people who are extremely ambitious, communicative and cultured, with many talents and with lots of scientific passion and openness to new challenges.
Of the candidates shortlisted for the second stage of the competition, 16 were successful and thus won the ‘Wild Card’ at the University of Silesia. Congratulations!
Winners of the ‘USil Wild Card’ competition will be exempted from the admission procedure at the University of Silesia for the academic year 2025/2026 for the following courses:

A meeting between Prof. Ryszard Koziołek, Rector of the University of Silesia, and Katarzyna Trynda, PhD, Assoc. Prof., Vice-Chancellor for Student Affairs and Education, and the competition winners took place on Thursday, 3 July at 2.30 p.m. in the Professors’ Club in the spinPLACE building (Katowice, ul. Bankowa 5).
