During the 16th UN Digital Summit – Internet Governance Forum on 6 December 2021 an agreement was signed to establish CYBER SCIENCE the Silesian Centre for Legal Engineering, Technology and Digital Competence. The innovative unit will combine research and teaching at: the University of Silesia, the University of Economics in Katowice, the Silesian University of Technology and the Research and Academic Computer Network – National Research Institute (NASK). The document was signed by: Rector of the University of Silesia Prof. Ryszard Koziołek, Rector of the Silesian University of Technology Prof. Eng. During the summit, the premiere of the monograph entitled “Internet and New Technologies Law. Perspectivies and Challenges” edited by Dariusz Szostek, PhD, DLitt, Associate Professor and Prof. Mariusz Załucki, took place. The monograph was published by the prestigious German publishing house NOMOS.
