Strengthening the University Francophonie is the main goal of the cooperation between the Embassy of France in Poland and the University of Silesia in Katowice. On 6 July (Tuesday) in the Rectorate, a meeting with the Embassy of France took place, during which the cooperation agreement was signed. The meeting was also an opportunity to award Prof. Krzysztof Jarosz, from the Faculty of Humanities, with the Order of Academic Palms, a French civil honour granted to scientists and individuals from the world of culture and education.
