The 2024/2025 alpine skiing season ended on 6 March 2025 in Zakopane during the Polish Academic Championships. Almost 400 athletes from all over Poland took part in the competition.
The University of Silesia in Katowice was represented by:

- Julia Gregorczyk

- Kamil Stabla
- Igor Wolański
- Jan Krzemień
The University of Silesia athletes achieved the following successes:
- Bronze medal in the overall team classification,
- Silver medal in the team classification in university types,
- 4th place for the men’s team in the team classification in university types.
The standout athlete was Magdalena Bańdo, who, during the Championships, won:
- 1st place in the giant slalom in the general classification and in university types,
- 2nd place in the general classification in slalom and 1st place in university types.
Additionally, Magdalena Bańdo represented Poland at the 2025 Universiade, and in the Polish Academic WinterCup she achieved the following successes:
- 1st place in the slalom final classification,
- 3rd place in the final classification of the giant slalom,
- 1st place in parallel slalom in Zakopane.
The 2024/2025 season was very successful for the alpine skiing section of the University of Silesia. Congratulations to all competitors and good luck in your future starts!
