On 29 February and 1 March 2024, the University of Silesia in Katowice hosted a meeting of partners to the international educational project DIGI-PROF (Transparent Assessment for Online Learning by Digitally Competent Professors). The project is formed by the following partners: Vytautas Magnus University (Lithuania), Universitat Oberta de Catalunya (Spain), Universidade de Aveiro (Portugal), Duale Hochschule Baden-Württemberg Heilbronn (Germany), EDEN Digital Learning Europe (Estonia) and the University of Silesia in Katowice.
The aim of DIGI-PROF is to support higher education teachers and institutions to design and implement transparent assessment for online learning, recognition of learning outcomes, developing digital competencies and implementing micro-credentials. The final stage of the project is currently being implemented; it involves launching two interdisciplinary online courses for the project’s students in:
- Education for Sustainable Development (6 ECTS),
- Artificial Intelligence in Education (6 ECTS).
The classes will be carried out from March to June 2024 by academics from partner universities. After completing the courses, students will receive micro-credentials
