The call for applications for abstracts for the EuroScience Open Forum 2024 started in October. The conference takes place on 12–15 June 2024 in the International Congress Centre. The next year’s ESOF is a flagship event related to giving the title of the European City of Science 2024 to Katowice. The event is organised by: EuroScience, the European Association for the Advancement of Science and Technology based in Strasbourg, the City of Katowice, and the University of Silesia in Katowice—the leader of the Academic Consortium—Katowice City of Science 2024.
The EuroScience Open Forum is a biennial meeting designed to offer the scientific community a platform for interdisciplinary and intersectional debate about scientific culture, scientific research and innovation. The 11th conference will be held under the leading theme ‘Life changes science;’ it reflects the character of the event as the participants will talk not only about the latest discoveries and achievements in various fields of science and art but also about challenges posed by the world to universities.
