Night marked by biology
In January each year, Polish universities, including the University of Silesia, create a unique opportunity for participants to become acquainted with scientific research conducted at the faculties of nature. Participants of the Night of Biologists have the opportunity to explore the secrets of the world of plants and animals. They also have a chance to meet scientists involved in nature, find out what their work is related to and see modern laboratories and their equipment.
Everyone can participate in the event, regardless of age and interests. Every year, the programme of the event (organized at the campus of the University of Silesia) includes over 50 meetings with science in various forms, and the Night marked by biology offers the opportunity to listen to interesting lectures and to actively participate in many workshops, shows, competitions and laboratory classes.
