Intensive Orientation Week for LLP/Erasmus students is taking place from 24th till 29th September in Katowice. Official opening took place on Monday, September 24th, in Rector’s building in Katowice. There are more than 80 Erasmus students taking part in the Orientation Week this year.
Vice-Rector for Internationalisation, Institutional Affairs and Public Relations, prof. Mirosław Nakonieczny, and prof. Jolanta Tambor, director of the School of Polish Language and Culture, were present at the opening.
Participants of the Orientation Week are learning basics of Polish language and culture, peculiarities of studying at the University of Silesia. They will visit Silesian Library and will go for a trip to Cracow.
The Orientation Week is organized by the School of Polish Language and Culture, on behalf of the LLP/Erasmus Office.
