Polish-Hungarian conference at the University of Silesia

The Polish-Hungarian Academic Conference will take place at Faculty of Social Sciences of University of Silesia in Katowice. Debates will start on Thursday morning, at 9.00 in Faculty Council Room, Bankowa 5, Katowice. The subject of the conference is: Dilemmas of the Polish and Hungarian nationality of policy in the 20th century. Both on the first and on the second day there will be a finishing discussion and a summary. University of Silesia in Katowice will welcome historians from foreign universities, e.g. Budapest or Pecs, and many distinguished academics from various research centres from Poland. It is worth mentioning that one of the participants of the discussion will be the former Polish ambassador in Hungary, prof. Maciej Koźmiński. We cordially invite you to participate in the conference both.

The conference has been organized by Institute of History of University of Silesia in Katowice, City of Katowice and Hungarian Cultural Institute in Warsaw.
