Polish project awarded in the EUCYS contest!

The international final of the European Union Contest for Young Scientists (EUCYS) was held from 13 to 16 September 2023 in Brussels.

The event brings together promising scientists (aged 14-20) from Europe and the world to present their projects before an international Jury. Each time, the Jury selects three first places, three second places, and three third places. During the last edition, one of the first awards went to Maksymilian Gozdur from Poland who presented a law project.

Maksymilian Gozdur was awarded for the project entitled ‘Justice institutions stipulated in French and Polish criminal procedure codes, and fair trial standards included in international law standards and convict rehabilitation’. Read more at eucys2023.eu/social-02/.

A delegation from the University of Silesia participated in this year’s final. Another competition final will be held from 9 to 14 September 2024 in conjunction with the celebration of the European City of Science Katowice 2024.
