The HumanDoc Foundation working for education and solving global problems has published “Guidebook for people hosting refugees from Ukraine”. The guidebook contains many useful tips for those who became involved in helping and decided to shelter refugees.
It was prepared by a psychologist and psychotraumatologist cooperating with the Foundation – Katarzyna Podleska, MA. The brochure contains advice on: arrival of guests and preparation for it, communication with them, approach to people with special needs, as well as possible problematic situations. It also includes information on how to help people who have experienced traumatic events.
The guidebook is available on the website of the HumanDoc Foundation. So far, the guide is only available in Polish.
