On 26 April 2024, Tomasz Huk, PhD, DLitt, Associate Professor was appointed the Silesian Deputy Education Superintendent by Barbara Nowacka, Minister of National Education.
Tomasz Huk, PhD, DLitt is a research and didactic employee at the Institute of Pedagogy at the Faculty of Social Sciences of the University of Silesia and Plenipotentiary of the Dean for Distance Learning.
His scientific interests include, among others, the use of digital media in preschool education, school education, and extracurricular education; analysis of the phenomena of catfishing, hikikomori, FOMO, e-sport in education; educational space architecture; online teaching, and school education and non-formal, non-media education, as well as school management.
