Admission process for Postgraduate Professional Development Studies for Primary and Secondary School Teachers

The University of Silesia admission process for Postgraduate Professional Development Studies for Teachers of Primary and Secondary Schools Conducting Classes with Students of Various Developmental and Educational Needs.

The studies are financed by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education.

The studies are designed to raise the competencies of professionally active teachers of primary and secondary schools in working with students of various developmental and educational needs.

The curriculum is addressed to people who want to expand their knowledge and acquire new competencies in working with students with various developmental needs. The curriculum provides for deepening the knowledge within special education, inclusive education, and the skill of individualising educational actions. Additionally, it includes issues related to universal design, modern education, legal aspects, and planning support for the development of students based on the carried out functional diagnosis within, e.g. individual educational and therapeutic programmes.

Duration: 2 semesters (maximum of 2 sessions per month).

Hours: 140.

Place of classes:

  • group 1 – the Faculty of Arts and Educational Science, ul. Bielska 62, 43-400 Cieszyn,
  • group 2 – the Faculty of Social Sciences, ul. Grażyńskiego 53, 40-126 Katowice.

The admission process lasts until 4 April 2022 and is carried out by the Online Application System.
