SPIN-US is a Member of Silesia Internet of Things Cluster

SPIN-US, a special purpose vehicle of the University of Silesia in Katowice, has joined the Silesia Internet of Things Cluster (SINOTAIC) initiated by the Self-Government of the Silesian Voivodeship and Smart Secure Networks during the European Cybersecurity Forum Cybersec. Apart from SPIN-US, the other members of SIONTAIC include: Silesian University of Technology, Revolve Bandała, Grzywa, Kaprusiak, APA GROUP, Cyberus Labs, Łukasiewicz Research Network – Institute of Innovative Technologies EMAG and Fundusz Górnośląski.

The purpose of SINOTAIC is to create products and solutions for the Internet of Things, with particular focus on cybersecurity, and to develop cooperation between the business sector and research institutions in the Silesian Voivodeship. The tasks of the Cluster include joint research and implementation projects, as well as transfer and commercialisation of their results in business activities.
