spinPLACE, the Centre for Creativity and Coworking of the University of Silesia in Katowice has been nominated for the Golden Statuette of the 28th edition of the Poland National Competition ‘Modernisation of the Year & Construction of the 21st Century’.
The competition is resolved based on the number of votes. Each person can vote once per day. You can vote by 9 May via the competition’s website.
As stated on the organisers’ website, the competition provides for three classes of acknowledgement:
- 1st class – the title of the Modernisation of the Year and the Construction of the 21st Century;
- 2nd class – honourable mention as the Modernisation of the Year and the Construction of the 21st Century;
- special prize.
The competition is to select and award construction projects, modernisations and new facilities finished by the first quarter of 2024 that are of particular values. Its main idea is to promote and support actions to protect the national heritage and stimulate the revitalisation of sites and the development of buildings for functional and aesthetic effects.
