Successes of our scientists at the IPITEX Exhibition

From 2 to 6 February 2023, the IPITEX 2023 International Intellectual Property, Invention, Innovation and Technology Exposition was held in Bangkok, Thailand. The inventions of scientists from the University of Silesia in Katowice were awarded with one gold and two bronze medals.

Laureates from the University of Silesia:

  • gold medal: Maciej Kapkowski, PhD; Tomasz Siudyga, PhD; Prof. Eng. Jarosław Polański for developing a method of regeneration and modification of spent industrial SCR catalysts on an industrial scale,
  • bronze medal: Ariel Marchlewicz, PhD; Artur Taszakowski, PhD for developing a formula with the use of the eggs of the snail Cornu aspersum as a cosmetic base,
  • bronze medal: Joanna Foryś, PhD; Marcin Gierczyk, PhD; Łukasz Chajec, PhD, for for the educational and training board game „Ile wart jest Twój pomysł?” (How much is your idea worth?).

After the exhibition, the scientists met with a representative of the Polish Embassy in Thailand, Waldemar Dubaniowski.
