On Saturday, 14 January 2023, the report and election meeting of the Forum of Polish Universities took place, which conducted the elections of the executive council. The Chairman of the Forum was elected Tomasz Janocha – a student of the University of Silesia in Katowice and the Chair of the Student Government University of Silesia. He is going to cooperate with the Vice-Chairmen Piotr Zaremba (the University of Szczecin) and Bartosz Gabrychowicz (the University of Rzeszów), as well as with a secretary Piotr Janeczek (the Jan Kochanowski University in Kielce). The term of the newly elected council starts on 1 February 2023.

The Forum of Polish Universities is an autonomous agreement of student governments associated with the Conference of Rectors of Polish Universities. It constitutes a committee of the Students’ Parliament of the Republic of Poland, which represents all people taking up studies at Polish universities. The Forum’s goals are, among others, representing students’ interests and protecting their rights, developing cooperation between student governments and supporting the quality of education. Additionally, the Forum issues opinions on matters important for the development of science and higher education.
