Regular member of the Polish Academy of Sciences and active member of the Polish Academy of Arts and Sciences. Lecturer at universities abroad (including Florence, Trieste, Udine, L’Aquila in Italy; Maryland, Michigan in the USA; McGill, Montreal in Canada; Oxford in Great Britain). Specialist in the field of calculus theory, ergodic theory, biomathematics, probability theory and practical application of mathematics (in technical, biological and medical issues).
