In the latest edition of the CWTS Leiden Ranking Traditional Edition 2025, the University of Silesia ranked 4th in Poland in the Social Sciences and Humanities category, taking into account the proportion of publications belonging to the top 10% most cited. Our University was also classified in the following fields:
- Biomedical and Health Sciences;
- Life and Earth Sciences;
- Mathematics and Computer Science;
- Physical Sciences and Engineering.
In the overall CWTS Leiden Ranking Open Edition 2025, we were classified in the same fields as in the CWTS Leiden Ranking Traditional Edition.
The Leiden ranking allows you to create listings according to selected criteria. By default, the classification is based on the number of publications from 2020–2023 (P indicator).
