The University of Silesia has been ranked among the ten universities most frequently featured in the media in an analysis prepared by the Media Monitoring Team of the Polish Press Agency. The report covers 24 universities included in the ‘Perspektywy 2025’ Higher Education Ranking and analyses over 6,400 media items published between 1 January and 12 March 2026.
The University of Silesia ranked sixth among the universities most frequently featured in national and regional media, confirming our university’s strong position in the national media landscape.
The report mentions, among others, Tomasz Słupik, PhD, whose comments and analyses on political science issues appeared regularly in the media during the first months of 2026.
The PAP analysis covers material from 108 sources – television, radio, national and regional press, and online portals. Only substantive mentions were included: those relating to research, expert statements, and the university’s activities.
