Taking into account the difficult epidemic situation, related to the spread of SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus, the University of Silesia is trying to ensure the continuity of scientific activities of its units, as well as provide its staff and doctoral students with access to necessary research and artistic materials and tools. Funding can cover justified costs required to achieve the intended research goals with reference to the development strategy in specific disciplines. Over PLN 1 million has been allocated to support the scientific activity as part of Research Excellence Initiative in this difficult period. The funding is one-off, and the resources are allocated by the relevant directors of institutes.
