Specialist Observatory of Nanotechnology and Nanomaterials
Building a competitive advantage of the region through the development of technological and innovative potential is the main task of the Specialist Observatory of Nanotechnology and Nanomaterials. The unit was established in 2014 as part of the Network of Regional Specialist Observatories, coordinated by the Marshal’s Office of the Silesian Voivodeship. The Observatory’s activities are carried out by the University of Silesia – the consortium leader, along with the following partners: The NANONET Foundation for Nanosciences and Nanotechnology Support, Institute of Non-Ferrous Metals and Centre of Polymer and Carbon Materials of the Polish Academy of Sciences.
