Universities of the Academic Consortium Katowice – City of Science have decided to inaugurate the academic year together for the fourth time. The official Interuniversity Inauguration of the Academic Year 2025/2026 will take place on 30 September 2025 at 4.00 p.m., at the Concert Hall of the Polish National Radio Symphony Orchestra in Katowice.
Faculty Inaugurations of Academic Year at University of Silesia
Nonetheless, the faculties and doctoral schools of the University of Silesia will each hold their own ceremonies in early October and again in early November to mark the beginning of the new academic year.
