Representatives from the University of Silesia scored a success at the Silesian Academic Championships in duplicate bridge.
This year’s competition took place on 20 March 2022 in the Kazimierz Lepszy Lecture Hall at the Rectorate of the University of Silesia (ul. Bankowa 12) in Katowice.
Aleksander Gangor and Lesław Binert, representatives from the Centre for Physical Education and Sport of the University of Silesia won the gold medal in the pairs tournament.
In the team classification, the Academic Sports Association of the University of Silesia won second place. The first place went to the Silesian University of Technology, with the WSB University placing third.
A the Silesian Academic Championships in duplicate bridge, the University of Silesia in Katowice represented: Agnieszka Stańko, Aleksandra Woźniczko, Marta Grabowska, Michał Stolarczyk, Aleksander Fangor i Lesław Binert.
