National Science Centre has announced the results of the 8th edition of the ETIUDA competition which funds scholarships for doctoral students conducting basic research. One of the competition winners is Kasper Pfeifer from the Faculty of Humanities at the University of Silesia in Katowice. His project entitled „The Policy of Aesthetics. Literature as the Tool of Social Change in the Artistic Practice of Brunon Jasieński” (description) was granted funding in the amount of PLN 135,000.
The ETIUDA competition is addressed to doctoral students or individuals who have initiated the PhD dissertation proceedings at a Polish institution authorised to award PhD degrees. The winners receive scholarships in the amount of PLN 5,000 per month throughout the period of writing the doctoral dissertation and take part in a 3-6 month internship in a selected foreign research centre.
