From 30 November to 30 December 2022, you can watch the open-air exhibition called ‘Science Festivals in Poland’ located at Katowice Market Square (flower square). The event is a part of the 6th Silesian Science Festival KATOWICE (ŚFN) and presents facts and figures of selected events organised by the members of the Forum of Polish Science Festival Organisers (FFN).
The Science Festivals EXPO is one of the most important elements of the 6th ŚFN programme. The EXPO stage features science communicators and representatives of science festivals.
The festivals which agreed to present themselves at the exhibition are: the Silesian Science Festival KATOWICE, the Lower Silesian Science Festival, Toruń Art and Science Festival, Poznan Science and Art Festival, the Science Festival in Warsaw, Lublin Science Festival, Opole Festival of Science, WSB University Science Festival.
The exhibition features a map of science festivals in Poland along with a list of the members of the Forum of Polish Science Festival Organisers. Moreover, the exhibition includes information on competitions within the Silesian Science Festival KATOWICE and visual identification of this year’s edition. Additionally, the exhibition brings closer the silhouette of Natalia Łukomska – the author of the illustration.
