\r\n Mgr Ewa Sybilska<\/strong>, doktorantka w Zespole Genetyki i Genomiki Funkcjonalnej Ro\u015blin Wydzia\u0142u Nauk Przyrodniczych U\u015a wygra\u0142a presti\u017cowy konkurs \u201eIrene Manton Poster Prize<\/strong>\u201d na najlepszy poster naukowy w sekcji ro\u015blin podczas tegorocznej edycji mi\u0119dzynarodowej konferencji \u201eSociety for Experimental Biology (SEB) Conference Prague 2024\u201d. Jej nagrodzony poster nosi\u0142 tytu\u0142: „The role of Cap-Binding Complex (CBC) in ABA-dependent seed germination in barley”.<\/span><\/p>\n

Konkurs \u201eIrene Manton Poster Prize\u201d zosta\u0142 ustanowiony w 1974 roku na cze\u015b\u0107 brytyjskiej botaniczki Irene Manton, wybitnej naukowczyni, kt\u00f3rej znacz\u0105cy wk\u0142ad w dziedzin\u0119 biologii eksperymentalnej zosta\u0142 uhonorowany przez organizacj\u0119 naukow\u0105 Society for Experimental Biology (SEB). Nagrody przyznawane s\u0105 w czterech kategoriach: ro\u015blin, zwierz\u0105t, kom\u00f3rek oraz OED (Other Experimental Disciplines). Celem konkursu jest promowanie m\u0142odych naukowc\u00f3w oraz inspirowanie ich do dalszego rozwoju i poszerzania horyzont\u00f3w naukowych.<\/span><\/p>\n

Mgr Ewa Sybilska realizuje badania do swojej pracy doktorskiej zatytu\u0142owanej \u201eRola gen\u00f3w koduj\u0105cych kompleks wi\u0105\u017c\u0105cy kap (CBC) w odpowiedzi na ABA podczas kie\u0142kowania nasion u j\u0119czmienia jarego (Hordeum vulgare<\/em>)\u201d pod kierunkiem dr. hab. Agaty Daszkowskiej-Golec.<\/span><\/p>\n
