W latach 1983-1987 indywidualne studia historyczne, UMCS w Lublinie. 1993 doktorat, UMCS w Lublinie. 2004 habilitacja, U\u015a w Katowicach. 2015 tytu\u0142 profesora nauk humanistycznych. Zatrudnienie 1987-1994 UMCS. Od 1994 pracownik naukowy Uniwersytetu \u015al\u0105skiego. Zainteresowania badawcze: zwi\u0105zki historiografii z psychologi\u0105 i psychoanaliz\u0105, historia historiografii polskiej i \u015bwiatowej w XIX oraz XX wieku, dzieje polskiej refleksji metodologicznej w dziedzinie historii, pami\u0119\u0107 historyczna, kultura uzdrowiskowa.<\/p>\n
