– 2001 doktor nauk humanistycznych w dyscyplinie literaturoznawstwo, (Temat rozprawy doktorskiej: „La science-fiction comme merveilleux contemporain”, promotor: Prof. dr hab. Magdalena Wandzioch)
– 2013 doktor habilitowany nauk humanistycznych w dyscyplinie literaturoznawstwo, (Temat rozprawy habilitacyjnej: „La prose néofantastique d’expression française aux XXe et XXIe siec les” ).

Dyscyplina naukowa i prowadzone badania (główne pola zainteresowań):

Jestem romanistką, literaturoznawczynią. Interesuję się
 szeroko pojętą fantastyką oraz horrorem w literaturze i kinie. Jestem autorką trzech monografii indywidualnych oraz ok. 6o prac (artykułów i rozdziałów) dot. w/w tematyki. Jestem promotorem  trzech doktoratów poświęconych fikcji nie mimetycznej. Obecnie, kieruję Grantem Opus 15, NCN nr 2018/29/B/HS2/00748 „Nowa Fantastyka Jean-Pierre’a Andrevona”, (czas trwania: styczeń 2019 – styczeń 2022).
