In 2019, I defended my PhD thesis in literary studies entitled <em>Prismatic Theatres. Towards New Materialist Readings of Samuel Beckett and Tadeusz Kantor <\/em>(thesis advisor: prof. Wojciech Kalaga). I have published two books and over thirty articles dedicated \u2013 but not limited \u2013 to literary theory, history of literatures in English, comparative literatures, posthumanism, deconstruction, environmental humanities, 20th century drama and theatre, and contemporary poetry. I am an editorial member of <em>Er(r)go: Theory \u2013 Literature \u2013 Culture<\/em> and <em>Fabrica Litterarum Polono-Italica<\/em>, and a member of Polish Academy of Sciences Commission on Literary History (Katowice Branch). Aside from being an academic, I am a boardgame geek, music nerd, birdwatcher, and amateur bassist.
