Doktor nauk matematycznych w dyscyplinie matematyka: Uniwersytet Śląski w Katowicach (2005 r), rozprawa doktorska pt. Pierścienie Witta pierścieni Dedekinda napisana pod kierunkiem dr. hab. Alfreda Czogały.

Magister matematyki: Uniwersytet Śląski w Katowicach (2001 r), praca magisterska pt. Zastosowania lematu Burnside’a napisana pod kierunkiem dr. hab. Mieczysława Kuli.

Nagrody i wyróżnienia: Nagroda Rektora UŚ II stopnia za działalność naukowo-badawczą (2022 r, 2006 r).

Zainteresowania naukowe: teoria ordynków, algebraiczna teoria form dwuliniowych i kwadratowych, algebraiczna teoria liczb.

Zatrudnienie: Instytut Matematyki UŚ (od 2003 r), adiunkt.
