We invite you to participate in the 10th Conference of The Polish Society for Human and Evolution Studies (PTNCE). The Polish Society for Human and Evolution Studies is one of the biggest evolutionary associations in central and eastern Europe. PTNCE gathers and supports researchers interested in applying the evolutionary approach to study human behavior.<\/span><\/p>\n The annual, international PTNCE conferences gather scientists from all over the world who represent various disciplines such as anthropology, archeology, behavioral sciences, biology, linguistics, psychology, and primatology. The PTNCE conference is an open space for all researchers interested in implementing evolutionary frameworks in their studies.<\/span><\/p>\n This year, the Polish Society for Human and Evolution Studies Conference is organized in association with the Institute of Psychology at the University of Silesia in Katowice. The Conference takes place from the 17th to the 20th of September in Katowice, Poland. The keynote speakers giving a plenary lecture during this event are Prof. Gregory Bryant (University of California) and Prof. Jenny Tung (Max Planck Institute for Evolutionary Anthropology). This year’s PTNCE Conference was included in the series of events from the „City-Region-Academy” series, carried out as part of the Katowice European City of Science 2024 celebrations. To increase the accessibility of our conference for the youngest scientists, we have reduced the conference fee for students and PhD students.<\/span><\/p>\n We invite you to present your research as presentations, flash talks, and posters. At the same time, we would like to inform you that the application submission deadline has been extended to July 20, 2024.
