Doctoral student at the University of Silesia reports on the situation in Ukraine

Doctoral student at the University of Silesia in Katowice, Pylyp Bilyi, as part of his private initiative, reports on an ongoing basis and translates news about the situation in Ukraine. The report is available on the YouTube channel Filozofia Tak Bardzo.

Pylyp Bilyi in 2020 received the title of Student of the Year. He is a doctoral student in philosophy at the Doctoral School of the University of Silesia in Katowice and the Institute of Philosophy. From 1 October 2020, he is implementing a doctoral project entitled “The dispute over intuitive cognition. Selected Concepts of Russian and German Philosophy of the Beginning of the 20th Century”. His supervisor is Prof. Teresa Obolevitch from the Department of Russian and Byzantine Philosophy of the Faculty of Philosophy of the Pontifical University of John Paul II in Krakow, while the assistant supervisor is Alicja Pietras, PhD, from the Institute of Philosophy of the University of Silesia..
