21 February is the International Mother Language Day approved by UNESCO in 1999.
On this occasion, a debate featuring scientists from the Faculty of Humanities will take place. Is Polish evolving? Do scientists from the University of Silesia observe generation differences in using Polish and its correctness? How to make a grandmother understands her grandson, a son grandfather, and a computer geek a clerk? Our guests will be: Prof. Aldona Skudrzyk; Katarzyna Wyrwas, PhD, DLitt, Associate Professor; and Prof. Jacek Warchala. The meeting will be hosted by Katarzyna Głuch-Juszkiewicz.
