Business – Science Forum “Craft on the modern market – business, passion, slow-life”

On 11 and 13 of January 2023, the Business – Science Forum “Craft on a modern market – business, passion, slow-life” will be held. The event is organised by the Industry Cooperation Office of the University of Silesia in Katowice. The event is addressed to entrepreneurs, craftsmen, designers, scientists, students and all those interested.

The purpose of the Forum is to initiate cooperation between research and scientific units with entrepreneurs in the area of ​​the so-called new craftsmanship and popularisation of knowledge on modern forms of selling cultural heritage in Poland and in the world, building a price strategy for a craft products, using design and unique materials in building a company and brand.

Participation in the event is free, but prior registration is required.

The first day of the Forum, 11 January (Wednesday), will be held from 8.40 a.m. to 2.00 p.m. at the Faculty of Arts and Educational Science of the University of Silesia in Cieszyn (ul. Bielska 62, conference room B0.1). You can register using the registration form until 6 January 2023.

The meeting on 13 January (Friday) will start at 8:40 a.m. and will last until 2.00 p.m. The event will take place at the Faculty of Science and Technology of the University of Silesia in Chorzów (ul. 75 Pułku Piechoty 1A, room P/1/14). Applications can be submitted until 12 January via the registration form.

The University of Silesia in Katowice is the leader of the consortium of the Regional Specialist Observatory of Nanotechnologies and Nanomaterials.

The forum is organised as part of the project “Network of Regional Specialist Observatories in the Process of Entrepreneurial Discovery in the Silesian Voivodeship” co-financed by the European Union from the European Regional Development Fund under the Regional Operational Programme of the Silesian Voivodeship for 2014-2020 under Priority Axis I. Modern economy | Action 1.4. Support for the innovation ecosystem | Sub-action 1.4.1. Management and implementation of the regional innovation ecosystem.
