The Congress of the International Federation for European Union Law (FIDE) will take place from 28 to 31 May at the University of Silesia in Katowice.
This edition of the event will be held in Poland for the first time. The organisers, together with the participants, will create a unique opportunity for in-depth debates on the future of EU law, as well as a convenient forum for the exchange of views and experiences in a less formal atmosphere, during meetings and events accompanying the congress.
The congress will also provide an opportunity to hold discussions on three important issues:
- EU law in emergency situations,
- EU regulation of digital services and markets (DSA and DMA),
- solidarity and energy security in the context of green transition and crisis management.
The congress itself will be preceded by a Young FIDE seminar where young EU law researchers will have the opportunity to present their work, which will then be discussed by experts in panels corresponding to the three main themes of the congress.
You can register for the congress using the following registration form.
The role of Congress organiser is assumed by the association originating from the Member State that hosts the event in a given year.
