‘The Oder river 2022 – what do we know about the ecological disaster?” is the title of the scientific and technical conference organised by the Faculty of Natural Sciences of the University of Silesia.
The event will take place on 24 March 2023 in the lecture hall of the Faculty of Natural Sciences in Sosnowiec (ul. Będzińska 60) at 10.00 a.m.-2.30 p.m. During their speeches, the scientists will talk about the course of the trip they took along the river from Ostrava in the Czechia to the Szczecin Lagoon. The research carried out after the ecological disaster and the hydrological condition of the Oder waters will be presented.
During the event, a cooperation agreement will be signed between the Silesian Water Centre of the University of Silesia in Katowice and the Research Centre for Public Competition Law and Sector Regulation.
The event will be broadcast online on the MS Teams platform.
