On 15 April 2022, the final version of University Educational Offer for the 1st cycle of the 2022/2023 academic year was published. The details are available on the website of University Educational Offer, in the Call for proposals tab. The offer was chosen through the post-call ranking list with demand for particular categories: general academic modules, general academic social modules, and academic humanities modules reported by boards of degree programmes.
University Educational Offer was constituted in response to Section 5 and Section 9 of Resolution of University of Silesia Senate no. 490 from 28 January 2020 on the necessity of non-humanities and/or non-social sciences degree programmes’ students for obtaining a specified number of points in the field of humanities and/or social sciences (Section 5) and the presence of class modules within the curriculum of Master’s degree studies enabling their implementation on the academic level (Section 9). The organisation of classes within University Educational Offer is specified by Regulation no. 155 of the Rector of the University of Silesia of 13 September 2021.
The offer implemented from the 2022/2023 academic year is the first full offer. The currently exercised curriculum in the academic year 2021/2022 is its pilot version.
