The SPIN-Lab Centre for Microscopic Research on Matter has received funding from the Ministry of Science and Higher Education to maintain the science and research equipment for 2024-2026. The funding amounts to nearly PLN 1.3M. The subsidy will be allocated to maintain the infrastructure’s readiness to carry out planned research tasks and develop scientific activities.

The Centre’s most notable research areas contribute to creating modern material solutions for healthcare, environmental protection, biodiversity preservation, clean and efficient energy, and resource efficiency. The Centre’s resources enable studies on matter at the molecular scale and to relate the properties of materials to their structure The disciplines using the SPIN-Lab’s potential include biological sciences, chemical sciences, physical sciences, biotechnology, nanotechnology, materials science and engineering, medical and pharmaceutical sciences and environmental protection.
