At the beginning of May, Prof. Ryszard Koziołek, the Rector of the University of Silesia addressed a letter to all members of the academic community, in which he encouraged them to actively participate in the discussion on the operation of our University after the pandemic. To facilitate members of our community the participation in the debate, we have launched a dedicated website.

The editors of the University of Silesia Magazine prepare the special issue of the monthly entitled “University after the pandemic.” It will be full of reflections of the employees, PhD students, and students of our University about the type of education for the new academic year. For obvious reasons, it is not possible for each of you to comment in our periodical, so we have prepared a website that is to be a forum for discussion.

At us.edu.pl/en/jaki-uniwersytet-po-pandemii, you can find a link to a questionnaire in the SRW system, in which, until 15 June, we will be waiting for your thoughts, reflections, conclusions, and expectations. It is worth getting back to the letter of Prof. Ryszard Koziołek, the Rector of the University of Silesia, as the inspiration for expressing your own opinion. The letter is available at Rector’s letter | University after the pandemic.

We encourage you to speak about such an important matter, as the operation of the University of Silesia after the pandemic.
