The fifth edition of the Silesian Science Festival KATOWICE, as befits its first jubilee, was different from the previous ones. This time the festival audience was invited to the outdoors and to the Internet space. On Sunday, 10 October, the festival took place on the boulevards of the Rawa River, in its vicinity, and on the market square in Katowice.
The Rawa River became the main focus of the festival space, which stretched from the market square in Katowice through ul. Teatralna, the Rawa boulevards, and the grounds of the University of Silesia campus to the building of the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Silesia.
The programme of the event on 10 October included dozens of lectures, workshops, exhibition stands, exhibitions, concerts, and meetings with Polish and foreign special guests.
