The admission of applications to the 16th Rector’s Distinctions competition for students and PhD students lasts until 12 April 2024, 11.59 p.m.
The distinctions are awarded for activities and achievements in the following fields: social, cultural, artistic, sport, scientific, popular science, as well as initiating and developing student life. The award will be given not only for individual successes but also activities for the academic community or the local community. It is the most important and prestigious distinction a student or PhD student can receive.
The activities of people studying and pursuing doctoral studies at the University of Silesia submitted to the Honorable Mention competition should be consistent with the implementation of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. In this year’s edition of the competition, the Jury will also take into account the realisation of the thematic paths of the European City of Science through the activities submitted for the Award.
The competition procedure is conducted electronically, both at the stage of submission and assessment of applications.
